Rashiri Johnson-Morales
Marriage and Family Therapist San Diego, providing therapy for psychosis, schizophrenia, anxiety, depression, couples, and families.
As a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate in San Diego, I am committed to providing compassionate, person-centered therapy where clients feel truly seen, heard, and understood—without judgment. My core value is personal growth, and I strive to support each client in defining and achieving their own vision of healing and progress.
I am a proud Navy Veteran, and my background has shaped my deep respect for resilience, perseverance, and the importance of creating a safe space where individuals can share their stories openly. I received my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University and am currently pursuing my Doctorate at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based disciplines, blending Psychoanalysis, Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT). In addition, I incorporate trauma-informed modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). This integrative approach allows me to tailor treatment to each client’s unique experiences and goals.
I have a passion for working with individuals navigating psychosis, schizophrenia, personality disorders, anxiety, depression, and grief. I also specialize in couples and family therapy, drawing from Systems Theory and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to strengthen relationships, improve communication, and foster healing within families.
Whether you are an individual facing life’s challenges or a couple seeking a stronger connection, I provide a collaborative, empathetic, and growth-focused space where meaningful change can happen. My goal is to help you uncover your strengths, work through difficulties, and build the life and relationships you envision.
