As a Psychological Associate in San Diego, I specialize in supporting individuals across the lifespan who are navigating a wide range of mental health concerns. My clinical focus includes ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, Dementia, and mood-related challenges such as stress, irritability, and anger. I am deeply committed to creating a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported in building lives aligned with their values.
I believe therapy should be collaborative and tailored to each person’s unique needs. My approach emphasizes reframing challenges, identifying root causes, and developing tools to manage symptoms effectively. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, addressing issues related to trauma, life transitions, educational support, and behavioral concerns.
Beyond individual therapy, I have provided case management, behavioral interventions, IEP support, transitional planning for individuals in the corrections system, career counseling for soldiers, and group facilitation. This diverse background has shaped my ability to meet clients where they are and guide them toward meaningful change.
In my practice, I integrate evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Humanistic Therapy, and Play Therapy. These approaches allow me to support clients in uncovering unconscious patterns, reframing negative thoughts, and building resilience.
I hold a B.A. in Psychology from Hawaii Pacific University, a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Grand Canyon University, and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Walden University.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with loved ones in the sun, exploring art, traveling, and experiencing diverse cuisines. I look forward to supporting you in your journey toward improved mental health and personal growth.
