Ashley Jeffries, Child & Adolescent Therapist for Anxiety & ADHD
Child and Adolescent Therapist in San Diego
Hi, I’m Ashley Jeffries, a Registered Psychological Associate with a background in clinical and school psychology. I have completed my doctoral coursework and
dissertation in Applied Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, and I’m currently completing my remaining doctoral training requirements.
I enjoy working with adults, teens, and children who are navigating anxiety, stress, emotional regulation difficulties, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), life transitions, and other emotional or behavioral challenges. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each individual’s needs. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel comfortable, heard, and understood. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT-informed skills, mindfulness, play-based interventions when appropriate, and trauma-informed care to help clients build coping skills, manage emotions, and navigate everyday challenges.
I believe in meeting clients where they are, recognizing their strengths, and helping them build confidence and practical skills they can use in everyday life.
