I have a Bachelor of Science in Humanities from Northern Arizona University with an emphasis on communications. I obtained my Masters Degree in Social Work from Arizona State University. I have focused on addiction, anxiety, LGBTQI, grief and loss, chronic illness, trauma, family relationships, depression, dual diagnosis, and working with those on the spectrum.
I find so much joy in guiding people through talk therapy and other evidence based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Client Centered Approach, Motivational Interviewing, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Acceptance Commitment Therapy. It is such a gift to be able to work with people everyday on finding their way through shame, anger, anxiety, depression, and other symptoms negatively impacting their daily lives.
I truly believe that healing can begin with connection. We can start wherever YOU are and work together to identify how your emotions, thoughts, and experiences have impacted your relationship with yourself and others. Together we can dissect how your symptoms are showing up in your life and relationships and how to best begin the healing process so you can have the greatest impact on your quality of life.
