I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Grand Canyon University and my Master’s and Doctorate from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
I specialize in neuropsychological assessments and personality assessments of adolescents and adults. Psychological assessments identify an individual’s strengths and weaknesses and touch on neurological, developmental, and behavioral abilities. I use assessments to diagnose, clarify behaviors, personality traits, and understand emotional and cognitive functioning. I will create a report to answer specific referral questions.
Common reasons for seeking a psychological assessment include Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, learning disabilities, dyslexia, chronic illnesses, medical conditions, and traumatic brain injuries.
The report you receive can refine a clinical diagnosis, inform treatment options, and provide accommodations in most settings.
The assessment process (typically) includes IQ, personality testing, attention, behavior, & achievement (requires multiple sessions to complete). The testing usually takes 6-8 hours to complete but varies for each individual. The entire process usually takes 2-3 weeks from the initial appointment to the report delivery.
