Christina Ritchie
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and board-certified Music Therapist. I specialize in treating PTSD (Posttraumatic Stress Disorder), Developmental Trauma/Complex PTSD, anxiety, depression, and survivors of narcissistic abuse. Trauma can cause feelings of isolation and disconnection from ourselves and those around us. I believe that therapy should be a nonjudgmental space where you feel safe and supported by a therapist that genuinely wants to see you thrive.

As a music therapist, I like to utilize creative arts modalities, as well as somatic practices which focus on healing stress, trauma, and unresolved emotions that are stored in the body. I am a therapist who values cultural sensitivity and I am committed to providing an inclusive and affirming practice for individuals from diverse backgrounds, including the LGBTQAI+ community.

As a trauma-informed provider, I offer Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), the Braddock Body Process (somatic), and Music Therapy.

I received a bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from California State University, Northridge, and my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Psychological Trauma Studies from Antioch University, Los Angeles.
