Associate Clinical Social Worker

Have you ever made a connection with someone where you felt heard? Where you feel like you are the only person in the whole world and that person takes the time to listen to what matters to your heart?

As a therapist I believe the space I hold for others is a very sacred space. It is a place where you can let your guard down, be vulnerable and find the motivation to push yourself to spaces and surpass limitations of the past.

I do not come with a prescriptive agenda, I come with a humble, trauma informed ,client centered approach that is backed with evidence based practices that are empirical and scientifically driven.

I utilize Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Expressive Arts as an intervention, Music as an Intervention, Narrative Therapy, Bibliotherapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Problem Solving Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, The Body Positive Modality.

The populations I have served and continue to work with include but are not limited to: children, adolescents, families, adults, individuals that struggle with eating disorder challenges, individuals from the LGBTQ community, individuals from the Asian Pacific Islander community, foster youth, and women in recovery.

My goal is to help you find healing to what capacity feels right for you. Together we will develop a treatment plan and goals that can alleviate symptoms that can be impacting your day to day life. We will utilize evidenced based and empirical researched interventions that can create healthy sustainable change.

The question is are you ready to create connection, find healing that feels right for you and surpass limitations of the past? If so please feel free to contact me. It would be an honor to work with you!
